AGOV Statistics April 2026 (agov.ch/stats)

  • In April 2026, there were 1.6 million registered AGOV accounts.
  • Around 50 million AGOV logins are expected for 2026.
  • AGOV does not have transaction figures per individual target application, as target applications are connected in bundled form via intermediary systems such as intermediary IAM systems and authority portals (AGOV → intermediary system → target application).
1 Target applications of the Confederation and the Army consume AGOV in a bundled manner via the central IAM system eIAM. No AGOV consumption takes place for employee roles or for mission‑critical Army systems.

2 In AGOV me, end users can manage their AGOV account in self‑service.

3 Under “Übrige”, the remaining participating cantons according to the AGOV Swiss map (CUG) as well as EMBAG‑compatible third parties, such as for example the Swiss Red Cross executing federal law, are subsumed.

Breakdown of the 52% share for the Confederation, including the Armed Forces

These 20 e-government applications of the Federal Administration (incl. Armed Forces) recorded the highest number of login transactions in April 2026.

Data basis: Only e-government transactions were recorded. Logins by federal personnel (FED-LOGIN) were explicitly excluded.

System change: Logins are currently still distributed between the expiring CH-LOGIN (in phase-out) and the new AGOV. As the migration progresses, CH-LOGIN will have little to no significance by the end of 2027.

Usage shares: The current ratio is 59.6% (CH-LOGIN) to 40.4% (AGOV). However, usage figures are currently shifting rapidly and steadily towards AGOV.
